The piece below is a very high end early 19th Century Secretaire Bookcase made from Satinwood and Cuban Mahogany, it received severe damage as a result of the Christchurch Earthquakes. It arrived to me in numerous containers, boxes and packets..

This was a very involved restoration due to the nature of the damage the piece sustained. The quality of the piece is exceptional and gratefully, the owners meticulous collection of the vast majority its broken fragments allowed minimal new timber repairs to be inset. I was able to source some period glass to replace the broken pieces and I had it cut to shape by local skilled glaziers.
